Well, I started temping 3 months ago and realized there are 4-5 days between my positive OPK's and my temp shift. So when...My bbt dropped this morning and Iv had ovulation pains all day, so that would predict that Iv ovulated today- as long as I have a temp rise tomorrow which I’m expecting going by last months chart. But on my clearblue opk Iv got flashing smiley no static yet. If it goes static tomorrow that will say ovulation within 24-48 hours.It looks to me like, according to BBT, you O'd on the 2nd of Nov. But the OPK says the 4th.. I think. If it was the 2nd then you may not have BDed within the time frame. When I was trying for my daughter 10 years ago I went by BBT and thought it was pretty accurate. I have heard the OPKs are really accurate, too, though so I don't know. Most often you will see day A. positive opk day B. Ovulation itself day C. Bbt Rise You may see some variance from this, sometimes it takes 2 days to see bbt rise or sometimes your LH surge may happen more than 24hrs before O. But generally the pattern is as listed above. Ideally, you should use one that is accurate to 1/10th (98.6) of a degree if you measure in Fahrenheit or 1/100th (37.00) of a degree in Celsius. Use the same thermometer throughout the cycle. If you buy a new one, start using it on day one of the next cycle. Taking your BBT is not too hard..
